Art is an open door which many people use to express themselves in a variety of different ways. As for me, I use art as a way to figure out who I am becoming and how.  When I paint or draw and create something and compare it to my old work, I see the different techniques and how I've grown as an artist and as a person. When I spend my time creating a new piece, my inspiration is my memories and when I am done I perceive the type of feelings I genuinely had for that time being in a new light. As I consider my many options as a young adult I see myself not creating art for money, but rather for personal enjoyment.
